What is Christmas?
Hey guys it's Catty here. I'm gonna be writing about what Christmas actually is today.
So whilst we sit around the tree and open the lovely presents, and stuff our face full of roast dinner and rip open the golden Christmas crackers we all forget why we celebrate Christmas.
We forget that Christmas is a time which we spend with family, and friends.
We celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, although you may not believe in him, or God.
We enjoy a delicious dinner, that had been cooked for hours, prepared with care and love. Fulfilling you hunger and making the day special. Bringing the family closer as you all slice the meat, and spoon the well roasted (i hope) vegetables onto your plate.
Watching Christmas movies while cuddling up in you r warm pyjamas, sitting next to those you truly care about.
That's what Christmas is.
The little things.
The way the baubles sparkle, and the tinsel hanging on the walls.
Hot chocolates
A sip of your mum's wine.
