Mug cake recipe

Hey, it's Catty here. So as this month is all about food I had to include some recipes. So today I am giving you a snickerdoodle mug cake recipe. So, a mug cake is a cake made in a mug that you microwave. It involves no eggs and takes up to 5 minutes. I am in love with them and they are literally the perfect snack for sleepovers. You can find loads more on Pinterest. Just get creative with it XX

• 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons plain flour
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/4 cup milk, at room temperature
• 2 tablespoons salted butter, melted and cooled
• 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

For layering/topping:
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Start by mixing all the ingredients in a bowl (besides the layering ingredients). This will create a cake batter (kind of.) Lick your fingers (seriously it tastes so good.) Now scoop some of the batter in. Sprinkle some sugar and cinnamon on, scoop some batter on, and repeat these steps until all of the batter is gone. Sprinkle some of the topping on and bake in the microwave on high for 1 and a half minutes.
